I really miss the atmosphere of a traditional Chinese New Year.

Living in a town where only a few Chinese are around, Chinese New Year is just another working day for me. So, how did I celebrate Chinese New Year? I went to work as usual, got home, heated up my left-over dinner, stirred fried tomatoes with eggs over a bed of rice, and ate it.

Happy New Year to all my friends and readers. Enjoy the special New Year events in Taiwan.

  • Have a happy Rabit Year, Julia!!
It's always hard to get festive here in Canada. The only thing that is remotely similar to the new years in my memory is probably the cold weather. ;)
  • Dear Maggie,
Same to you! I wish you and Tom have a Happy Bunny Year, and maybe add a bunny or two. I heard that it is very cold in Taiwan. I don't think the temperature is that low. However, it IS horrible if we take the humidity into consideration in Taiwan. Anyway, take care and enjoy another working day.
